High Tea at The Chateau and Smash Palace visit

This, for those who want to do it, is a Dress-up Occasion — following on from the conversation at the AGM. This dress-up is not about buying or hiring but finding something in your wardrobe that hasn’t been out for a while. Art Deco or Graden Party or just an item you wore a long time ago and hasn’t been out for a while. This is not a competition but an enjoyable occasion.

The adventure will look something like this:
Leave from Pirongia at 9:30am (with a full take of gas)
Loo stop at Te Kuiti
Loo Stop/Coffee/Food Taumarunui
Check in at Park Hotel 1:00-1:30pm (If the rooms are available at the time)
Shower and change (for those who want to)
Convoy to Chateau at 2:40pm (High Tea at 3:00pm)
For those people who are not participating in the High Tea, you are welcome to join us at the Chateau for drinks/coffee etc.
Dine a the Park Hotel (Stay dressed up for those who want too)
Sunday - Smash Palace at 10am and then travel home after
