Over night road trip
As Profiled at the AGM, following the successful weekend road trip to National Park in October 2022, we are planning another weekend away in October 2023.
Thank you for registering your interest for this run – in total we have 18 cars totalling 33 people who have registered their interest in joining us for the weekend.
The next steps from here at stage are related to booking accommodation in Katikati for the Saturday night.
We have reserved two options for rooms and these will be available on a ‘first in’ basis – the reservation is under the name of the Waikato Jaguar Club so each party will need to contact the accommodation providers directly to secure booking – there are only limited number of rooms available and therefore we recommend that you secure your accommodation booking asap.
Option 1: Talisman Hotel Katikati (07) 549 3218 (NOW FULLY BOOKED)
Option 2: Asure Kaimai View Hotel (07) 546 0398
There are 11 units available here
Once these rooms are all booked anyone who has not then secured their accommodation would need to stay at the next closest accommodation, which is Sapphire Springs about a 10 min drive out of town – we have not reserved any accommodation here but rooms are currently available.
Once you have secured your Accommodation, please send me an email so I can keep the attendance register up to date for all future communications.
Linda-Maree and I are looking forward to being your hosts for this run.
If you are interested in coming, please email us on russell@russelldrakeconsulting.co.nz or text 021 686 621
Just a friendly follow up – reminder email regarding booking your accommodation for the October Road Trip
The Talisman is now full and Kaimai View will only be holding the reserved rooms for another 7 days so if you are still intending on joining us for this weekend, please confirm your accommodation asap by phoning (07) 549 0398
Once you confirm your accommodation, please email me so that I can keep you up to date with plans as these are confirmed.
We have had a few people who originally signalled their interest drop out – and I have also had a few people that cannot join us on the Saturday indicate that they would like to catch the touring group at the Flat White in Waihi Beach for lunch on the Sunday and then come with us to Agrisea. Therefore, if you cannot now stay overnight but wish to be part of the Sunday activities, please let me know as this will be also be for prebooked members only due to the fact that we have to confirm numbers at Flat White.
Look forward to hearing from you.
